EAST LANSING, Mich. — The Central Michigan volleyball team came away empty handed Saturday, dropping straight sets to No. 7-ranked Florida and Michigan State in the first day of the Auto Owners Insurance Spartan Invitational at Jenison Field House.
CMU fell to the Gators, 25-10, 25-17 and 25-10, followed by a 25-14, 25-17 and 25-20 loss to the Spartans in their second match.
“Well I challenge any team out there to see if they played a tougher calendar day then we did today,” CMU coach Mike Gawlik said.
