KENT, Ohio. — The Central Michigan Volleyball team dropped a three-setter to Kent State Saturday in a Mid-American Conference matchup at the Rockets’ Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center.
CMU fell, 27-25, 25-18, 25-18, to slip to 8-10 overall with a 2-4 mark in league play. Kent State is 10-9, 3-3.
“Well I thought we were real competitive in set one, but we let Kent State capitalize on some things and it got away from us late,” CMU coach Mike Gawlik said. “A lot of things started affect us throughout the match and we got a little overwhelmed.
