W. Track. Chippewas Second, Third After Day 2

TOLEDO, Ohio - The Central Michigan women are tied for second and the men are third after day two of the Mid-American Conference Championships at the University of Toledo Outdoor Track & Field Facility.

The Championships conclude on Saturday.

Akron tops the women's team standings with 55 points. CMU is tied for second with Kent State with 44. Eastern Michigan and Northern Illinois are tied for fourth with 33.

Eastern Michigan has opened a commanding lead in the men's standings with 58 points. Akron (29) is second, followed by the Chippewas (22) and Kent State (20).
