MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Two Central Michigan soccer players have been named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America All-Great Lakes Region First Team.
Eliza Van de Kerkhove and Alexis Pelafas are the first two players in program history to earn all-region honors after being named to the 11-player squad on Wednesday. Both are eligible for All-America consideration.
“I think it’s a tremendous accomplishment to have two players who have been recognized by the coaching staffs in the region as having had outstanding seasons,” CMU coach Peter McGahey said.
