CINCINNATI – Cincinnati outscored Central Michigan, 6-1, in the second half Sunday in handing the Chippewas a 14-5 loss in a non-conference women’s lacrosse game.
The Chippewas (1-2) play host to Delaware State on Friday (3 p.m.) in the first home lacrosse game in CMU history. They entertain Virgina Commonwealth next Sunday (1 p.m.). Cincinnati improved to 4-2.
Anna Schoonover scored two goals to lead the Chippewas. Auguste Jepsen, Summer Abdalla and Kaitlin Kimble added a goal apiece. Riley Huda had an assist.
