MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Logan Halvorson of the Central Michigan women’s lacrosse team was named the Atlantic Sun Defensive Player of the Week.
Halvorson, a freshman midfielder, led the CMU defense to a pair of home wins last weekend, 19-5 over Delaware State and 6-5 over VCU.
Halvorson helped limit Delaware State to just one first-half goal, as CMU jumped out to a 9-1 lead at the break.
For the game, Halvorson had three ground balls and one draw control in addition to four points on three goals and one assist.
