MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – The Central Michigan lacrosse team was picked to finish eighth in the nine-team Atlantic Sun Conference in a poll of league coaches.

The Chippewas begin their inaugural season of lacrosse on Feb. 7 when they play at Michigan in a non-conference game.

CMU’s first home match at the university’s brand new soccer/lacrosse stadium is slated for March 11 against Delaware State.

The Chippewas’ first Atlantic Sun match is slated for March 30 at Detroit.

Jacksonville, which has won the last three regular-season and tournament championships, was picked to finish first in the conference in the poll.
