MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Jacksonville scored 12 first-half goals Friday in handing Central Michigan an 18-4 loss in an Atlantic Sun Conference lacrosse match at the Central Michigan Lacrosse-Soccer Stadium.
The Chippewas slipped to 4-7 overall, 0-3 league. They entertain Stetson on Sunday (noon) in an Atlantic Sun game. Jacksonville is 10-4, 5-0. The Dolphins are 21-0 all-time in conference games and are the three-time reigning Atlantic Sun champions.
“Jacksonville is one of those programs where they rarely make a mistake and execute well on both sides of the ball,” CMU coach Sara Tisdale said.
