Central Michigan played its first varsity lacrosse game on Sunday, falling at Michigan, 14-1, indoors at the Wolverines’ Oosterbaan Field House.

“Really proud of the composure that we showed,” said CMU coach Sara Tisdale, whose roster is made up almost entirely of freshmen. “We didn’t look like an all-freshman-and-one-sophomore squad out there at all.

“We were able to execute some key points that we wanted to hit on on both sides of the ball.
