MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - Natalie Johnson shot a 2-over par 74 Tuesday to tie her career-best and lead the Central Michigan women's golf team during the third and final round of the Morehead State Citrus Challenge at RedTail Golf Club.
The Chippewas shot a 321 team score to finish with a 982 total and in 19th place in the 20-team field. Tuesday's 321 was a 10-shot improvement over CMU's second-round score, and it was nine shots better than its first-round score.
Johnson, a sophomore who opened the tournament with a 77, finished with a 236 total to tie for 67th place in the 118-player field.
