LINDEN, Mich. – Two Central Michigan golfers advanced to match play this week at the 100th Michigan Women’s Amateur at Spring Meadows Country Club.

CMU’s Natalie Johnson, a junior-to-be, along with incoming freshman Katie Logan, were among the 32 players to advance to match play.

Johnson dropped a 4 and 3 decision to defending champion Allyson Geer of Brighton. Geer was the top seed in match play. Logan fell, 3 and 2, to Caroline Harding of South Lyon. Harding plays at Michigan State and Geer has signed with the Spartans.
