MADISON, Wis. — The Chippewa cross country season came to a close on Friday afternoon at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional at the University of Wisconsin.
The CMU women’s team finished 14th out of 32 teams with many of the runners posting season- and career-best times.
Kelly Schubert was the first Chippewa to cross the finish line, placing 45th with a time of 21 minutes, 13.3 seconds. That time was good enough for sixth-best in school history.
Sophomore Megan O’Neil was next for CMU, finishing 62nd at 21:28.
