MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. — The calendar has turned to March. Postseason basketball is around the corner, and finishing the regular season strong is the critical.
With two games remaining in the regular season, the Central Michigan women’s basketball team has crossed two significant accomplishments off its Mid-American Conference checklist.
A 73-61 victory over Western Michigan last Saturday secured the Chippewas (19-8 overall, 13-3 in the MAC) a share of the MAC West Division title, a first-round bye in the MAC Tournament, and a ticket to Cleveland, site of the tourney.
