MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. — A fresh set of batteries with the postseason on the horizon.
This is what the Central Michigan women’s basketball team got this week, taking a break Wednesday from the two-games-a-week grind they have endured since the Mid-American Conference schedule started on Jan. 2.
“The week off has been good for us because you get to rest both mentally and physically and we get to take care of some of the nagging injuries,” CMU coach Sue Guevara said.
“I’ve liked our practices this week, we took Monday off and practiced pretty good on Tuesday, took Wednesday off and had a good practice (Thursday) and (Friday).
