W. Basketball. Moore Named Chippewas' MVP

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Sophomore forward Tinara Moore received the Most Valuable Player Award on Saturday at the Central Michigan women’s basketball annual season-ending banquet.

The Chippewas were the surprise team in the Mid-American Conference in 2015-16, winning the West Division title and finishing runner-up in the league tournament. CMU earned a bid to the WNIT, marking the fifth time in the last six years that the Chipppewas have played in the postseason.

CMU also honored its two graduating seniors, Chelsea Lynn and Da’Jourie Turner.
