CLEVELAND, Ohio – Central Michigan’s Sue Guevara was named the Mid-American Conference Coach of the Year and Presley Hudson earned the Freshman of the Year Award Tuesday on the eve of the league women’s basketball tournament.
It is the first time that Guevara has earned the MAC Coach of the Year Award in her nine seasons at Central Michigan.
Hudson, a 5-foot-6 freshman guard from Wayland, Mich., is CMU’s leading scorer at 13.8 points per game and is the MAC’s most-efficient free throw shooter, knocking down her charity tosses at an 89.
