Central Michigan will play host to Preseason Women’s National Invitation Tournament games Friday and Saturday in McGuirk Arena.
On Friday, the CMU women’s basketball team (0-1) will face Furman (0-1) in a 7 p.m. game. Eastern Washington (0-1) will take on Elon (0-1) at 4:30 p.m. It is the Chippewas' home opener.
The four teams will return Saturday, with CMU playing in the 7 p.m. game regardless if it wins or loses on Friday. Furman will play in the 4:30 p.m. game against either Eastern Washington or Elon.
Tickets for general admission seating will be good for both games.
