MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. — Facing a team for the second time in a season brings a new set challenges for players and coaches, regardless the sport or level of competition.
This is the situation that presents itself Saturday as the Central Michigan women’s basketball team plays host to Akron in Mid-American Conference game at 1 p.m. in McGuirk Arena.
The Chippewas will face the Zips for the second time this season after a dominant, 97-77, win in Akron on Jan. 9.
CMU (10-7 overall, 4-2 MAC) is tied for second in the MAC West.
