MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Don’t look ahead, and don’t go to sleep on Middle Tennessee State.
The Central Michigan women’s basketball team will play at Middle Tennessee on Wednesday (4 p.m.) in its final nonconference game. The Chippewas (8-3) open Mid-American Conference play three days later, on New Year’s Eve, at Kent State.
CMU is coming off an 82-51 win over Illinois – the Chippewas’ first win over a Big Ten team since 2011 – and they will face a Lady Raiders team that, while 4-6, has played a brutal schedule and came into the week with an an RPI of 103.
