BUFFALO, N.Y. — Frustration in all facets of the game was the overall takeaway from Central Michigan women’s basketball coach Sue Guevara following her team’s 67-61 Mid-American conference loss to Buffalo on Wednesday night.
The Chippewas shot just 34 percent from the field and 21 percent from 3-point range, and was outrebounded by the Bulls, 51-45, in slipping to 7-6 overall, 1-1 in the MAC. Buffalo is 9-4, 1-1.
“I thought Buffalo was a lot tougher than we were,” Guevara said. “I think they got the 50-50 balls, they were wrestling balls away from us and I thought we played soft and that’s probably the most disappointing thing.
