OXFORD, Ohio — The Chippewas needed a bounce-back game and they got it.
Coming off an overtime loss to defending Mid-American Conference champion Ohio, the Central Michigan women’s basketball team responded with a 72-58 league victory over Miami (Ohio) on Wednesday night.
“I thought it was a real nice win on the road for us,” CMU coach Sue Guevara said. “We came out of the gate strong, had a bit of a letdown in the second (quarter), but we were able to make some adjustments and we battled through and we finished.
