MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Central Michigan softball players Erika Underwood and Lacy Tolfree were honored on Thursday by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association.
Underwood, a junior first baseman, was named to the association’s All-Region Second Team, and Tolfree earned a spot on the All-Region Third Team. Tolfree is a senior outfielder.
Underwood, who hails from Pittsford, topped the Chippewas with a .382 batting average and eight home runs, and she shared the team lead with 29 RBI. She was named First Team All-Mid-American Conference.
Tolfree, a native of Saginaw, was second to Underwood with a .
