MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Two Central Michigan players were named to the All-Mid-American Conference baseball team, released by the league on Tuesday.
CMU’s Griffin Lockwood-Powell was named to the first team as a designated hitter, and pitcher Pat Leatherman was named to the second team for the second consecutive year.
Lockwood-Powell, a redshirt freshman, leads CMU with 38 RBI and is second on the team with a .322 batting average and four home runs. He also leads the Chippewas with a .452 slugging percentage.
