Two basketball recruits sign to 2018-19 team

On Thursday, the Central Michigan basketball team officially signed two players to head coach Keno Davis’ 2018-19 team.

The two players signed were forward Kevin Hamlet and guard P.J. Mitchell.

“They’re both extremely talented, and they also have a great basketball upside,” Davis said in a press release. “They’re willing to come in and work, help the team and also improve their own individual game.”

Hamlet spent last season at Polk State College in Florida before transferring to Mineral Area College in Missouri, where the 6-foot-7, 209-pound forward is playing the 2017-18 season. He averaged 8.
