KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Central Michigan baseball team scored three runs in the ninth inning to break a 1-1 tie en route to a 4-2 victory over Western Michigan in a Mid-American Conference baseball game at Hyames Field at Robert J. Bobb Stadium.
The win tied the series at a game apiece. The series is scheduled to conclude on Sunday (1 p.m.). The Chippewas are 14-22-1, 8-6 MAC; Western is 15-17, 5-7.
