The other guys: Central Michigan shows it is more than two-man show in victory over Bowling Green

The 5-foot-9 dynamic guard duo for Central Michigan receives the majority of headlines and rightly so.

But a team cannot be complete without a roster full of complementary pieces and that was easily apparent Tuesday night at McGuirk Arena.

Although it was not surprising that Marcus Keene and Braylon Rayson combined for 55 points, the so-called ‘role players’ for the Chippewas stepped up in a massive way during an 82-76 victory over Bowling Green.

It was CMU’s second straight home win to improve to 13-7 overall and 3-4 in the Mid-American Conference. Bowling Green drops to 8-12 and 2-5.
