DeLAND, Fla. – Stetson scored 14 first half goals to hand the Central Michigan women’s lacrosse team a 20-8 Atlantic Sun Conference loss on Friday at the Hatters’ Athletic Training Center.
The Chippewas fell to 4-8, 1-4 ASUN. Stetson is 3-8, 3-1. CMU will top off its weekend in Florida on Sunday (noon) with a conference matchup at Jacksonville. The Dolphins are 7-4, 4-0 after a 22-7 win over Detroit Mercy on Friday. Jacksonville is 28-0 all-time in ASUN games.
“Some of our best games this year has been against our most-challenging opponents, so hopefully we get more of that from our program on Sunday,” CMU head coach Sara Tisdale said.
