MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Three Central Michigan softball players were named to the Academic All-Mid-American Conference Team.
The three CMU student-athletes, with their year and grade point average are Maison Kalina, sophomore, 3.56; Taylor Lewallen, junior, 3.42; and CarolAnn Sexauer, senior, 3.84.
It marks the third time that Sexauer has earned Academic All-MAC honors in her career.
To qualify for the team, a student-athlete must carry a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have competed in 50 percent of her team’s games. First-year students and transfers in their first year at their respective institutions are not eligible.
