MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. — As early April weather conditions fluctuate, the Central Michigan softball team is searching for some consistency.
Coming off a snow-induced five-inning tie with Akron in the rubber match of last weekend’s Mid-American conference three-game series, the Chippewas will look to build some momentum as they play host to Western Michigan Tuesday in a doubleheader (1 p.m.) at Margo Jonker Stadium.
“We played better and I saw some fight in game three (of the Akron series),” CMU coach Margo Jonker said. “We came back to tie it up from four runs down in the (fifth inning).
