On the opening evening of the annual Under Armour Showcase, the Central Michigan softball team extended their win streak to four games under the lights in Clearwater, Florida.
CMU defeated Fort Wayne in the first game 2-1. Sophomore Lauren Vaccaro picked up the win, pitching 4.2 innings, recording two strikeouts and giving up six hits.
Sophomore Andrea Pearlberg led the team with two hits. Senior Rachael Knapp closed out the final two innings, recording four strikeouts.
