MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Central Michigan soccer coach Peter McGahey has named Stewart Givens as an assistant soccer coach.
Givens, who will join McGahey and fellow assistant Cassie Weik, will work primarily with the goalkeepers and serve as the program’s director of external affairs.
“Stewart fits with who we are and where we’re going,” said McGahey, who is in his fifth season in charge of the program. “He is a person who views himself as a teacher and a builder of young people, and he will fit in very well in our culture on and off the field.
