Central Michigan’s senior class has been at the forefront of the rise from mediocrity to one of the better men’s basketball programs in the Mid-American Conference.
Five Chippewas seniors – Chris Fowler, John Simons, Austin Stewart, Rayshawn Simmons and Blake Hibbitts – will be honored at 6:45 p.m. Friday night on Senior Night at McGuirk Arena. While Hibbitts is going to receive a medical redshirt and return for the 2016-17 campaign, the other four CMU seniors are wrapping up their careers wearing the maroon and gold.
