Junior goalkeeper Zoie Reed led the Central Michigan soccer team to a 2-0 victory against Detroit Mercy.
CMU improves to 4-2-1 on the season after today's win.
Following CMU's 2-0 victory, head coach Peter McGahey was quick to point out how improved Reed looked after her 5-save shutout performance against the Titans.
"I think you saw how far she's come as a goalkeeper," McGahey said. "I thought her steadiness and composure is really reassuring for the team."
Reed's save total now jumps to 39 on the season after her five-save effort, leading the Mid-American conference in that statistic.
