Junior Zach Horan won his first-round match but fell in the second round of the NCAA Wrestling Championships.
No. 19 Central Michigan wrestling couldn't find its footing, Sunday, as the Chippewas could only muster three victorious matches out of 10 in their 26-9 loss to the 4th-ranked Missouri Tigers in McGuirk Arena. CMU moves to 5-2 overall and 2-1 in Mid-American Conference play.
Tough Start
The Chippewas dropped their first four matches of the meet, getting down early 12-0 to the Tigers. After 125-pounder Brent Fleetwood's 9-3 loss to No. 8 Barlow McGhee, CMU's 133-pound, 141-pound and 149-pound matches were all competitive one-point decisions.
