After a slow start, Central Michigan lacrosse (1-3) fell to Virginia Commonwealth (3-3) Sunday afternoon by a score of 15-9.
The Rams dominated early on and jumped out to a quick lead. Molly Barcikowski scored a hat trick and Jenn Nonn added two goals to help pace VCU to a 7-0 lead.
The Chippewas refused to quit and responded with a pair of goals. Emma Hamilton scored on an assist from Anna Schoonover followed by an unassisted Riley Huda goal to cut the lead 7-2.
