For the third consecutive week, the Central Michigan football team was unable to become bowl eligible, falling to the Miami (Oh) 37-17.

MU's offense proved to be too much for CMU to keep up with, as the RedHawks ran away with a victory Friday night to extend its winning streak to four games.

The Chippewas' record falls to 5-5 overall (2-4 Mid-American Conference). Miami improves to 4-6 (4-2 MAC).

MU quarterback Gus Ragland powered the offense by completing 13-of-21 passes for 218 yards and four touchdowns. He also compiled 60 yards rushing.

How it happened

Both offenses ran rampant in the first half, combining for 448 yards and 37 points.
