After beating Loyola in the annual “Hoops for Hunger” game on Thursday, the Central Michigan women's basketball team was back at McGuirk Arena to take on the Univeristy of Illinois at Chicago on Saturday.
CMU won 77-55 and improved to 6-2 overall on the season. The Chippewas have won five games straight and have scored 70 or more points during the winning stretch. Junior and sophomore guard’s Cassie Breen and Presley Hudson led all scores with 18 points.
