The Central Michigan women’s basketball team faced off against the Ball State Cardinals on Wednesday night, looking to sweep the season series. After a back-and-forth contest that went down to the wire, CMU came out on top 67-66.
CMU improves to 18-8 overall and 12-3 in the Mid-American Conference play. Ball State drops to 18-8 and 10-5 in MAC play.

CMU struggled to make shots throughout the game, especially from 3-point range, where the Chippewas were 4-for-21.
