MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - If you can point to one primary factor behind the Central Michigan men's basketball team's successful run in the CollegeInsider.com Tournament, it would have to be offense.
The Chippewas have excelled in that aspect of the game in wins over Fort Wayne and Wofford, putting up some impressive numbers while on the road.
• After averaging in the high 70s throughout much of the season, including a healthy 78.4 points per game in 12 road contests, Central Michigan is scoring at a 96.0 points per game clip in the CIT.
