MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Central Michigan’s Joe Ostman has been named one of 30 candidates for the Senior CLASS Award.
The award, which is presented annually by Premier Sports Management, goes to a senior football player from a Football Bowl Subdivision team who excels in four areas of excellence: community, classroom, character and competition.
Ostman, who hails from Mackinaw City, is a general management major who carries a 3.68 grade point average. A defensive end, he has twice been named Academic All-Mid-American Conference and is also a MAC Distinguished Scholar Athlete.
