Central Michigan field hockey head coach Molly Pelowski has been relieved of her duties, according to a press release from the athletic department.
The decision came today from Associate Vice President and Director of Athletics Michael Alford. Alford met with the team Thursday to discuss the future of the program.
A search for Pelwoski's replacement will begin immediately.
“Molly is a loyal Chippewa and has been one of the most warm and welcoming people on the staff,” Alford said the release. “We have a team of outstanding students who achieve at the highest levels in the classroom.
