MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Central Michigan’s Luke Meyer was named the Mid-American Conference West Division co-Player of the Week for men’s basketball.
Meyer, a 6-foot-10 1/2 senior from Addison, averaged a near double-double – 21.5 points and 9.5 rebounds -- in two road games last week. He shares the award with Toledo’s Tre’Shaun Fletcher.
On Tuesday at Ball State, Meyer finished with career highs in points (26), rebounds (14) and 3-pointers (six). He made 60 percent of his triple tries and both of his free throw attempts, extending his streak to 16 consecuitve makes.
