MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Yes, they’re all important.
But in college wrestling, it’s what happens in March that really counts.
For Central Michigan, that begins on Saturday at the Mid-American Conference Championships at the Chippewas’ McGuirk Arena.
On the line, of course, is the prestige of a league championship, both individually and for the teams.
But of even greater importance is a berth to the NCAA Championships, which are March 15-17 at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland. The NCAA has allocated 25 spots in the championships to the MAC.
