MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Oakley Savickas is a Chippewa.
Oakley signed his National Letter of Intent Wednesday to join the Central Michigan University men’s basketball program.
He was welcomed to the university and the team, the reigning Mid-American Conference champion, during a press conference in the media room adjacent to CMU’s home, John Kulhavi Court at McGuirk Arena.
“We’re thrilled to officially welcome Oakley to our Chippewa basketball family,” CMU coach Keno Davis said. “He has been a part of our team this year at practices and at games and we look forward to him being a integral part of our future program.
