MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Central Michigan junior guard Marcus Keene has been honored as MAC West Player of the Week for the third time this season, the conference office announced on Tuesday.
Keene, who leads the NCAA in scoring with a 31.9 points per game average, has earned the recognition in three of the last four weeks.
Keene continued his torrid scoring pace last week versus Montana State, posting a career-high 44 points in Central Michigan's 106-103 road win over the Bobcats. The point total was the highest for a single game in the MAC thus far this season and second most in Division I men's basketball.
