MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Panic? Hardly. Concern? Perhaps.
The Central Michigan men’s basketball looks to rebound Saturday when it goes to Bowling Green (2 p.m.) for a Mid-American Conference game.
The Chippewas fell to Eastern Michigan, 99-80, Wednesday in their MAC opener. The loss dropped CMU to 7-7. Bowling Green is 10-4, 1-0. The Falcons opened MAC play on Wednesday with a 73-62 win over Miami (Ohio).
It wasn’t that CMU necessarily played poorly in its loss to the Eagles on Wednesday. EMU hit the Chippewas with a flurry, knocking down an incredible 66 percent of its attempts from the floor, including 65 percent from 3-point range.
