MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – At this point, it’s all about jockeying for position with an eye toward a spot in the top four of the overall Mid-American Conference standings.
The Central Michigan men’s basketball team goes to Ball State Tuesday (7 p.m.) in a pivotal Mid-American Conference game.
The Chippewas have won two straight, and stand 16-13 overall, 9-7 MAC. They trail Ball State (19-10, 10-6) by one game in the West.
Both teams are among a bevy of squads in the hunt to claim one of the top four spots in the overall MAC standings and therefore earn a first-round bye in the league tournament.
