MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Central Michigan’s Jami Laude has been named the Mid-American Conference Golfer of the Week.
Laude, a freshman from Ann Arbor, was named the league’s top player after shooting 72-75 – 147 to finish among a group tied for fourth in the Dayton Fall Invitational at NRC Country Club.
Laude’s 147 total is a CMU 36-hole record, and her opening-round 72 tied for the best in program history. Her 72 led the Chippewas to an opening-round 305 team score, the best ever for a CMU squad.
