Central Michigan’s lacrosse team lost 17-4 at Marquette Saturday, dropping its record to 3-3.
Freshman midfielder Sydney Wright led the Chippewas with two goals, scoring both in the final eight minutes of the game. The Ohio native has eight goals so far this season.
Junior attacker Julianna Shearer led her team, scoring five goals for MU in the first half.
Shearer started the game off at the draw. Within the first minute, sophomore attacker Riley Hill scored the first goal of the game and put the Golden Eagles on the board.
