Lacrosse Downs Butler, 14-9, for Second Straight Win

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.Jocelyne Lemay tied a single-game program record with six goals to lead the Central Michigan women’s lacrosse team to a 14-9 win over Butler in a nonconference matchup at the Bulldogs’ Varsity Field on Thursday.

The win, the Chippewas second straight, lifted them to 3-4 while Butler fell to 1-7. CMU will open Atlantic Sun play next week when it hosts Mercer (5-1) on Friday, March 24.

“(In the next week) we’ll just be really reflecting back and seeing where we can make some solid adjustments and getting really familiar with our opponents,” said CMU head coach Sara Tisdale.
